The dairy farm has a capacity of four cows.At present situation the dairy farm holds two numbers of crossbred Jersey cows and four male calves.The production at its best is 20L/day which is submitted daiIy to KOMUL (Kolasib Milk Producers Union Limited) @ Rs38/L.

The farmers guest/farmers hostel is mainly used for the purpose of vocational trainings of the farmers

There are certain diseases that cannot be diagnosed through signs and symptoms which speaks the need and importance of Diagnostic laboratory. The laboratory serves as an important tool for the district for diagnosis of some diseases although it requires upgradations almost in every angle specially for some complicated diseases which requires standard laboratory.

The poultry farm has two units one for the nursery and the other for rearing the adults.Backyard production is the main objective and the birds are improved dual purpose birds.The eggs are collected and are either sold or send to the hatchery for multiplication.The day old chicks are distributed to the farmers and sometimes sold at a much lower price.It also serves as a demonstration unit.

Diagnostics visits are made to the farmers field at different villages .During the visit problems and constraints faced by the farmers and livestocks relating to health,nutrition,housing system, diseases, production and management are monitored and accordingly technical interventions are applied wherever possible.
