KVK Pathankot is having small bee keeping unit and also organizing trainings on Capacity Building in Bee Keeping for the rural youth and farmers of Pathankot District

KVK Pathankot has established a backyard poultry demonstration unit to promote the adoption of backyard poultry by the farmers of Pathankot.

Home Science Laboratory has been established since the construction of the new building of KVK, Pathankot in 2018. This laboratory is equipped with basic kitchen devices, small implements, tools and utensils. Approximately 5-8 vocational trainings are being conducted in this laboratory by the Subject Matter Specialist of Home Science. Besides, short duration and in-service courses are also being organized from time to time. As a result of these trainings, many successful women entrepreneurs have come up in the district since the inception of KVK, Pathankot. and there is overall improvement in the quality of life of rural women of this district.

Area-Specific Mineral Mixture Mineral mixture are available for dairy farmers on a sale basis @ Rs90/Kg.

KVK Pathankot has established a Goat Demonstration Unit at KVK Farm for demonstration purposes and also for imparting hand on training to the trainees.
