As Demonstration unit, it is at KVK, Farm site, near Tengapani, Namsai District. But due to no electricity , water connection facility that is not in working condition on regular basis. On emergency it is utilised. The capacity is of near about 500 birds.

At Tengapani, vill- Momong, Namsai District, we are having field farm. But no road connectivity, electric connection, water connection, and non availability of labour on time we could not utilize the total farm area. Total KVK land is not surrounded by boundary, so agriculture is restricted to fenced area, i.e- 2.08 ha. We grow- maize, sesamum, mustard, ginger. Now from last year onwards, we are developing orchard of areca nut, lichi, banana, pine apple and other minor fruits in small area. Very small quantity of vegetables are also produced at farm site. As the KVK is running from a rented house, so at farm site we are having security problem also besides all other problems.

KVK is having specialized doctors in this regard, nitrogen can and other accessories also. But due to no supply and availability of Liquid nitrogen , straw can not be preserved. KVK has successfully achieved- 5 M and 2 F calf of Sahiwal and Jarsi breed out of 17 cases at village- Alubari, Mahadevpur and Namsai. We are having good correlation with state Vet. Department and when ever necessary kvk extend the help not only in this regard but also for animal treatment, delivery etc also.
