Krishi Vigyan Kendra is having Fish ponds in about 11 acres. We are mainly concentrating on Rohu and Catla production. Production of Fingerlings will be takenup soon. KVK has been sanctioned an IFS model with Poultry, Horticulture and Fish. The IFS model will be constructed soon after receipt of the funds.

In Krishi Vigyan Kendra organic farming is being practiced, and it cultivated in about 60 cents area. Nursery was rared with variety NLR-34449 and was treated with Beejamrutham and raised 20th December, 2016. Transplanting will be done on 10-01-2017 or 11-01-2017 by dipping the seedling in Jeevamrutham.

Krishi Vigyan Kendra is having a well established Vermicompost Unit. The Vermicompost produced will be utilised for the farm purpose. The unit is a model for showing to the farmers and visitors.

Kvk is having Soil Testing Lab. We are regularly analyzing the soil samples received from the farmers.

It is proposed to rear GIFT Tilapia and Vannamei and ornamental fish production.
