Objective: To aware extension worker about improved impliments for dry land farming.
To know need of mechanisation in agriculture
To learn farm mechanisation to cope with climate change
Pre Event Description :
Training will conduct on Farm Mechanisation and its need in agriculture. To create awareness among extension workers about the need of farm mechanisation in agriculture; Accordingly, the program will organized to train the extension workers on the use of impliments . Labour availability & cost is having a major impact on the agricultural sector, with rise in crop production costs and productivity changes. In the event of climate change, there is a need to take appropriate measures such as adoption of intercropping method, adoption of BBF technology, in-situ water conservation, timely spraying & harvesting with the help of improved impliments. On these factors, the scientists of the KVK gave detailed information about the various improved impliments such as subsoiler for tillage, BBF Planter for planting on broad bed furrow method with inter cropping, improved weeder, B/D operated traction sprayer, B/D operated solar sprayer,T/D operated sprayer & combine harvester .

Various agril impliments designed by UAE,VNMKV,Parbhani was focused to promote the annual use of bullock power. The concept of custom hiring center was impart on participants. 26 extension workers from kaij Blocks participated in this training program. Through the KVK, they were given a folder on Improved impliments.
