Deendayal research instititute, kvk beed I has organised Mahila melava for sugarcane cutter On date 12/2/2022 at KVK Beed I, On the occession of this programme the canecutter women who have started small scale business of Pearl millet kharwadi i will be felicitated.

Post Event Details:Deendayal Research Institute Krishi Vigyan Kendra Beed-1 organised Mahila Mela for sugarcane cutter on the occasion of Pt. Deendayalji upadhya Punyatithi dated 12/2/2021. The theme of Mahila Mela was Agriculture allied enterprises. Dr. Upendra Kulkarni (Project Head, DRI Beed) chaired the mela. Other dignitaries were Shree Sanjay Gaikwad (MSRLM, Ambajogai), Shree Sukhdev chincholikar (MAVIM, Beed),Sau sandhy Kulkarni (Social Activity, Aurangabad), Shree Bipin Kshirsagar( Head of the Deendayal Bank, Ambajogai) Shree Hemant selmohakar (Infosys, Pune), Shree Dattatry Pandit (Infosys, Pune) and KVK Senior Scientist and Head shree. Narendra Joshi present on dias. Shree Sanjay Gaikwad emphasised on the importance of agricultural based enterprises and marketing of value added products. Sandhya Kulkarni Guided farm women for consistency in work they want to do as agriculture allied enterprises and also thought about the importance of packaging and labelling . Dr. Upendra Kulkarni appealed to all farmers to visit kvk regularly and take advantage of technology for agriculture. There were 162 women participated in mahila mela.
