World soil day celebration along with distribution of soil health card to farmers. Local representative, state agriculture department officials, kvk scientists and farmers from near by villages are expected for programme.

KVK Ambajogai, Dist Beed celebrated World Soil Day on 5 December 2016 at Choramba village of Dharur tehsil. Soil Health Cards were distributed among farmers. Taluka Agriculture Officer, circle agriculture officer, local panchayat representatives, kvk scientists and farmers from villages attended the programme. Officers of state agril. department and scientists guided farmers regarding use of soil health card for crop production. They argued that use of soil health card is helpful in decreasing cost of production and increasing productivity along with profitability. This programme was organised to create awareness among farmers about importance of soil health card.
