Objective: Demonstrations have been shown to farmers which are very important in drought condition to rare livestock i.e. Azolla production technology, hydroponics production technology, silage production technology, urea treatment to low quality fodder.
Pre Event Description :
On the occasion of Shri. Mukundraj Swami Maharaj fare, Panchayat Samitee, Department of Animal Husbandry, Ambajogai has organized Agriculture and Animal exhibition. Krishi Vidyan Kendra, Digholamba, Ambajogai has participated in this exhibition. In this exhibition, KVK kept stall which cover different aspects of animal husbandry and fodder production technology. On stall, different demonstrations have been shown to farmers which are very important in drought condition to rare livestock i.e. Azolla production technology, hydroponics production technology, silage production technology, urea treatment to low quality fodder. Along with this, provide information of high yielding green fodder producing crops varieties. On stall also showed live sample of recent chicken strain Kaveri. Through poster, information of different valuable indigenous cow breeds given to farmer i.e Deoni, Red Kandhari and Gir. An importance of mineral lick bricks has explained to farmer by KVK Animal Science expert.
