Objective: To create awareness of small scale enterpreneurship in village level. To create awareness of Minimal & primary processing on agricultural produce. To create awareness about PDKV AKOLA designed Mini dal mill To literate rural youths about how to install & run mini dal mill To create awareness about packaging & marketing

Pre Event Description :

Seven days training programme will plan at kvk. In the training sample pre and post evaluation test will be carried out atleast for 30% trainees. importance of oilseed & pulse crop, production technology & scope for processing will be covered. processing: Need of hour will be focus on trainees. Trainees will be aware about cleaning & grading aspect & various impliments developed by various institute. On second, third & fourth day introduction on PDKV Mini dal mill - single roller, double roller, polisher, sheller etc. machines & process of dal making through machines will be schedule theoretical & virtual. In the afternoon session practical use ,operation of dal mill for redgram & bengalgram will be arranged .On the fifth day we plan exposure visit to 4 mini dal mill project run sucessfully by FPO & rural enterpreneurs from village sungaon & chanai.On the sixth day lecture on packaging, marketing, preparation of project proposal, government schemes & on last day feedback,conclud

Chief Guest's Remarks:Dr. Sharma sir focused on entrepreneurship development in rural areas through agricultural processing industries. It is need to come forward to Young farmers for small scale processing industries in the time period apart of crop season. Bengalgram is the prominant crop in the beed district, hence their is scope of chana dal preparation in district. Various PDKV Akola designed developed dal mill will be helpful to trainees in this work. kvk arranges this training programme for seven days to give you practical experience of dal mill operation, Care & maintenance etc. alongwith theortical knowledge. Everyone work on this project with full devotion & effort so that we can get suceess. study of the Market regarding processed product is also important activity. The Packaging of final product in decorative manner has a lot of value. Hence every trainees must learn about both packaging & Marketing concept through this training programme. Post Event Details:Seven days training programme was conducted at kvk. On the day first after registration, sample pre evaluation test was taken from 5 trainees. In the inauguration session Dr. Sharma sir gave focus on entrepreneurship development in village level. Importance of oilseed & pulse crop, production technology & scope for processing was covered. Processing: Need of hour will be focus on trainees. Created awareness in trainees about cleaning & grading aspect & various impliments developed by research institute. On second, third & fourth day introduction on PDKV Mini dal mill - single roller, double roller, polisher, sheller etc. machines ,specification for the construction of shed for this unit & process of dal making through machines was conducted theoretically & virtually. In the afternoon session practical use ,operation of dal mill for redgram & bengalgram had been taken . On the fifth day exposure visit to 4 mini dal mill project which run sucessfully by FPO & rural enterpreneurs from village sungaon & chanai was carried out.On the sixth & last day lecture on repair & maintenance of mini dal mill, packaging, marketing, preparation of project proposal, government schemes was delivered alongwith review of training & feedback was taken from trainees,Finally post evaluation test was carried out from same 5 trainees. In the concluding session sr scientist gave assurance to trainees that kvk is with trainees upto final establishment of unit & gaves manufactureres detail
