Objective: To educate rural youth about commercial dairy farming as agriculture allied business.
Pre Event Description :
Three days training program has been planned on commercial dairy farming for rural unemployed to educate them about commercial dairy production. Under this training program, emphasize will be given on different topics such as introduction of dairy business, classification of cow breeds, buffalo breeds, housing system types, loose housing system conventional barn Introduction of dairy business Classification of cow breeds, buffalo breeds, housing system types, loose housing system, conventional barn, hydroponics, clean milk production, digestion system of cattle, care and management of calf and heifer, care and management of pregnant animal, care and management of dairy animal Urea treatment to straw, breeding management, leguminous green fodder, non leguminous green fodder, diseases in cattle and buffalo, caccination in cattle and buffalo, Silage production and azolla production

Chief Guest's Remarks:In inaugural session of training program, Dr. Saurabh Sharma encouraged the rural youth to start the dairy business for self employment generation. He said that dairy business has huge scope in india. He explained the importance of clean and hygienic milk production. Farmers can harvest more profit by processing of milk in the form of Khoa, Shrikhand, Burfi, Paneer etc.
Post Event Details:Three days training program has been organized on commercial dairy farming for rural unemployed to educate them about commercial dairy production. Total 86 trainees participated in this training program.
