Objective: To train the rural youths in production, processing and value addition in millets
Pre Event Description :
6 days skill development training programme on Production, Processing and Value Addition in Millets for rural youths from, 21st to 26th May 2018 at KVK premises, sponsored by MANAGE, Hyderabad. Fifteen rural youths participated in the training. During the programme the participants were trained on processing & value addition in millets and production of different products of millets like cake, chocolate, biscuits, doughnut, mixture, bisibele bath, puliyogare, etc. They have also been taught about the importance of millets in daily diet. Dr. Usha Ravindra, and Dr. Mamatha Assoc. Professors of Dept. of Food Science & Nutrition, GKVK, are invited as resource persons for the programme. The programme was concluded on 26.05.2018.
