India is the country of villages. Majority of the population resides in villages. Rural youths are having vision and desire to make the villages smart. They need direction. Smart villages not only include technology adoption in agriculture but it also need to pay attention on education, village economy, healthy food and pure drinking water quality, internal roads, overall participation of the villagers, toilets for each house, etc. Now, for this rural youths should take initiative. Considering this fact, Kisan Mela has been organized.
Image: Kisan mela was organized to aware and show direction towards smart village for the rural youths. Mr. Bhaskarrao Pere Patil, Patoda, Dist. Aurangabad was invited as chief guest and main speaker for the programme. He has made his Patoda village smart. He told that Gram Panchayat supplies RO purified water to every house, warm water for bath to every house, free floor mill facility. Village have good internal roads, even for each farm have road, each house is having toilet. Further he told that his village has received President Award for 2 times. He appeal the rural youth that they should take initiative in making their villages smart. 250 rural youth were present on this occasion.
