Objective: To know about Importance of soil - water & need of erosion check.
To aware farmers about importance of Improved irrigation system.
To know improved impliments for drainage of soil to improve soil health.
Pre Event Description :
Lecture will be plan at Kewad, Tq. Kaij, district Beed by state agril dept. Kaij Dist. Beed on occasion of World soil day. Lecture will conduct on Irrigation & Drainage engineering. Awareness will create among farmers about the importance of soil- water, erosion, its type need of erosion check . Farmers will aware about the dis advantages of the traditional irrigation sytem specially which affects on soil health. Importance of use of improved irrigation system will be advise to reclaim it. Accordingly, the program will organized to aware the farmers on the changes to be made in the use of impliments for drainage of soil. On these factors, the scientists of the KVK will give detailed information about the various improved impliments such as subsoiler,power harrow for tillage, BBF Planter for planting on broad bed furrow method etc for timely operation.
