A field day program was organized at Jawalban village of Kaij tahsil to demonstrate benefits of improved rabi sorghum variet Parbhani Shakti as compared to traditional variety Dagadi. New variety has good characteristics s compared with traditional variety like- good height, large size of comb, bold grains, early maturity and grain filling than local variety. It can result in increased productivity by 30 per cent. It also give good quality fodder for livestock.
