Objective: To Know agricultural engineering interventions in dryland farming Viz. Farm mechanisation, Improved irrigation system & agricultural allied enterprises
Pre Event Description :
Farmers will be understood about farm mechanization. Farmers will be learn about various improved tools & machineries specially for harvesting.viz.Serrated sickles ie luxmi sickle & vaibhav sickles will be promoted to small & marginal farmers . Issue of Drudgery during harvesting work will be discuss. KVK will provides serrated sickles to the interested farmers to use it. KVK promotes custom hiring center as a agril. entrepreneurship. Through custom hiring center kvk will provide service of tractor for various farm operation. Kvk have a Dal mill demonstration unit through which services farmers will be benefitted.

Post Event Details:Farmers was understand about farm mechanization . Farmers learned about various improved tools for harvesting of crops after their visits. Serrated sickles specially luxmi sickle & vaibhav sickles for harvesting was promoted in small & marginal farmers . Issue of Drudgery during these works was discussed & gave solution on it through improved light weight serrated sickle. Kvk supplies serrated sickles & Dal mill service to the interested farmers to use it.
