Objective: Motivate farmers for use of modern communication technology to gain agriculture technology.
Pre Event Description :
A kisan phone-in-program was organized by Deendayal Research Institute, Krishi Vigyan Kendra Beed-I to connect farmers from district who could not reach at KVK due to remote area & long distance from KVK head quarter. Another objective behind oraganizing this program was to motivate farmers for use of modern communication technology to gain agriculture technology. Multi-disciplinery scientist team gave advise & guided farmers on various subjects. By using modern ICT tools scientist attended farmers call from 11:00 to 12:00.
Farmers from district seek advisory on sugarcane management, livestock management in summer season, cotton production, Intercropping, weather forecasting, mango fruits management, Kharip planning, crop insurant, chilly cultivation, organic farming etc. 22 calls were attended by KVK scientist team there continuous call traffic was observed.
Target Group: Farmer
