Objective: KVK & RRS BATHINDA surveyed cotton crop in villages Jeewan Singh Wala, Naseebpura, Bhagivander, Talwandi Sabo and Mirziana for insect-pests.
Pre Event Description :
KVK & RRS BATHINDA surveyed cotton crop in villages Jeewan Singh Wala, Naseebpura, Bhagivander, Talwandi Sabo and Mirziana for insect-pests. The team recorded 6.0-14.3 whiteflies/ 3 leaves with maximum at Jeewan Singh Wala. The team also observed 0.0 to 6.0% rosette flowers due to pink bollworm (PBW) during the survey. The maximum incidence of PBW was recorded at village Mirziana. A heap of previous crop residue was found adjoining the field. The farmer was advised to destroy the cotton sticks and to spray Curacron.
