Post Event Details: International women’s day was celebrated by DRI, KVK. Beed I at village chandan savargaon Tq. Kaij on 8/3/2021.The theme of the programme was “Empowering women farmer with skill and knowledge” Mrs. Triveni Tapase chaired the programme other dignitaries were Ms. Supriya Palawe (CM Fellow), Mrs Nanda Ohal (MSRLM, Tq kaij) present on dais Mrs. Ohal emphasised on importance of women in agriculture. Motivated the participants to develop as women entrepreneurs guided them to sustain with confidence. She also said that every woman should develop one skill and try to acquire knowledge of different field. Six farm women felicitated for their outstanding work in starting the small-scale business at village.
SMS Home science addressed about various challenges are being faced by women in daily life and overcome the obstacles with confidence. She also mentioned that women were endowed with multitasking skills and they possess capabilities to perform their duties more efficiently than men in any field. She also said that develop leadership skills and gear the family, their community and the society towards development. Ms. Supriya Palawe tought about the importance of cleanliness overcoming the diseases. On this occasion health camp conducted and checked the blood haemoglobin level of the farm women. Total 75 farm women were participated in this program.
