Pre Event Description :
Dr. M.S. Pithiya, Research Scientist, Pulse Research Station, Junagadh delivered lecture on scientific cultivation of pigeon pea, chick pea, green gram and black gram of pulse crops. He also gave key point of technology to the farmers to increase crop production and newly released varieties. Dr. C.V. Patel, Assistant Research Scientist, Pulse Research Station, Junagadh gave information regarding proper selection of variety, seed treatment, pest and disease management in pulse crops. Progressive farmer Shri Valjibhai Ramani gave their review and detail information regarding variety of pigeon pea GT- 101. Shri Punabhai Chauhan and Shri Pratapbhai, progressive farmers of chick pea also gave their review and detail information regarding chick pea variety (GJG- 3) and (GG-5), respectively. They stressed on getting maximum production by adopting scientific crop production technology. Total 144 beneficiaries including 131 men and 13 women was take part in this function.
