Objective: To create awareness of small tools & impliments amongst farmers to reduce cost of operation & drudgery.
Pre Event Description :
Focus on Various small hand tools & impliments will be impart in training for small & marginal farmers. Farmers will be aware about improved sickles, maize sheller, dibbler, fruit collector, hand hoes, groundnut decorticator- stripper etc alongwith Bullock drawn planter & 3 tyne ferti hoe impliment . Farmers will be aware about the importance of timeliness in farm operation & adoption of improved impliments for the same.

Post Event Details:Training was conducted on Improved small tools & impliments to create awareness among farmers about the timeliness of farm operation ; Accordingly, the program was organized to train the farmers on the improved small tools & impliments.. In the event of reducing cost of cultivation, farmers need to take appropriate tools & impliments such as adoption of dibbler, various types of hand hoes, sickles, maize sheller, groundnut decorticator- stripper, fruit harvestor alongwith improved bullock drawn planter & 3 tyne ferti hoe etc. On these factors, the scientists of the KVK gave detailed information to the farmers on these impliments. 10 farmers from 2 villages participated in this training program.
