Objective: To encourage farmers for bee keeping.
To promote beekeeping among farmers.

Bee Seminar:
The bee seminar is planned online through Deendayal Shodh Sansthan Krishi Vigyan Kendra Ambajogai and Global Parli Project. Farmers from Beed district who are cultivating orchards or farmers who want to keep bees were selected and participated in the seminar. On the occasion of World Environment Day, a seminar was organized on the bee, an important component of the environment.
The seminar was organized to promote bee keeping among the farmers and to make the farmers aware of the benefits of bee keeping. Krishi Vigyan Kendra scientist Shri. Mr. Suhas Panke apprised the farmers about the benefits of bee keeping and the increase in crop production due to bee keeping. Bee keeper from Kolhapur district Shri. Mohan Kadam informed the farmers about the various products available from bees. Farmers were challenged to keep bees by giving satisfactory answers to various questions of the farmers.
