Objective: Program on “Drip irrigation system care and Maintenance”
Pre Event Description :
Two days training program on “Drip irrigation system care and Maintenance” was conducted at KVK Beed-I. Er. Pramod Renapurkar guided farmers on daily maintenance viz. cleaning of filters, lateral – pipe flushing, acid treatment etc. gave information to trainees about importance of care & maintenance along with fertigation techniques. Mr. Suryavanshi Technician of Irrigation Co. Ltd, Latur gave demonstration of all above activities in KVK drip set at field. Cleaning of screen filter, fertigation by venturi & acid treatment activities were experienced by farmers. Various types of acid, their specification, use of liquid fertilizers information was gives to trainees. Trainees clear their all quarries regarding operation of drip irrigation system to improve its life & productivity.
