Objective: The objective of PM-KISAN is to supplement their financial needs for procuring various inputs related to agriculture and allied activities
Pre Event Description :
The event was addressed by Central Agricultural Minister Shri Radha Mohan Singh, Chief Minister of Uttar pradesh - Yogi Adhithyanath followed by Honourable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. This speech was on Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN), were Prime Minister briefed about the benefits of farmers through this scheme during the crop failure for the following season of a year. Therefore he assured a minimum of Rs. 6000 / year in 3 splits as per season to all the small and marginal farmers in India. Thus more than 1 lakh farmers were benefited by the scheme during the programme he interacted with the farmers of Kerala, Karnataka, Andhra and Telangana
