Objective: To create awareness about improved tools & machineries for harvesting of rabi crops
To aware farmers about serrated sickles specially Luxmi sickle for sorghum & vaibhav sickle for wheat
To create awareness of self propelled reapear for bengalgram & wheat crops.
To creatye awareness of combine harvestor for harvesting & threshing of rabi crops.
Pre Event Description :
Farmers & farm women will be understand about farm mechanisation, its need & scope. Farmers will be learn about various improved tools & machineries for harvesting of rabi crops. Serrated sickles specially luxmi sickle for sorghum harvesting & vaibhav sickles for wheat & bengalgram crop harvesting will be promoted in training to small & marginal farmers . Issue of Drudgery during this work will be discuss & gave solution on it through improved serrated sickle. Self propelled reaper will be focused in training to harvest bengalgram, wheat crops for medium farmers. Information of Combine harvestor will be told to trainees for harvesting & threshing of rabi crops which saves time, labour requirement & cost of operation. Practical demonstration of serrated sickles will be planned on nearby farmers farm to get work experience to trainees. Kvk will provides serrated sickles in discount rates to the trainees who are interested to use it.

Self propelled reaper machine was focused in training to harvest bengalgram, wheat crops for medium farmers. Care & maintenance of self propelled reaper advised to trainees for economical operation. Information of Combine harvestor was told to trainees for harvesting & threshing of rabi crops which saves time, labour requirement & cost of operation. Concept of custom hiring center was focused in training to promote mechanisation in harvesting & all types of work in farming. Practical demonstration of serrated sickles was taken on nearby farmers farm to get work experience to trainees. Kvk provides serrated sickles in discount rates to the trainees who are interested to use it.
