12 Oct, 2021 (Waste to wealth) - On the occasion of Amrit Mahotsava of Independence, a one-day workshop was organized on 12.10.2021 at Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Bemetara with the theme of cleanliness from waste to wealth. In this program, the waste materials which are of no use were told about how to decompose them and bring them back to work. Along with this, the methods of making organic manure by vermi composting, use of waste decomposer capsule were explained through power point presentation to farmers. Along with this, a pledge of cleanliness was administered to the farmers to keep their environment clean. On this occasion, Mr. Toshan Kumar Thakur (Fisheries Scientist), Dr. Ekta Tamrakar (Entomology Scientist), Dr. Hemant Sahu (Farm Manager), Mr. Shiv Kumar Sinha (Program Assistant), Mr. Palash Choubey and other employees were present.
