Description : After registration the farmers were formally welcomed to the event by Dr. Vikas Singh, In-Charge, KVK, Kushinagar who also sketched a brief outline of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi in the training hall of KVK. After the scheduled webcasts, queries and any doubts of the farmers were successfully dealt with and spot suggestions were provided by the staff of KVKs and public representatives present among the farmers. The farmers of the district were very keen to know about their current status of self and the district. They were informed that by 03.18 pm on 23.02.2019 a total of 7890, 9654, 1190 farmers of dudahi, sevarahi and tamkuhi blocks respectively had been registered online under the scheme. Furthermore by 03.18 pm on 23.02.2019 a total of 1667, 3906, 6083 farmers of dudahi, sevarahi and tamkuhi blocks respectively had been registered offline under the scheme.
