He also state that emphasis should be given on the health of soil, rearing of animals, fishery and good quality seeds for the success of the farmers. Farmers should also make the best use of KVK Farmer Portal App. Prof. Lalnuntluangi Hmar, the Guest of Honour also made a speech on the occasion. Description : World soil day was organised on 5th December 2017 at KVK Aizawl, Central Agricultural University, Imphal, C.V.Sc. & A.H., Selesih, Aizawl, Mizoram. Radha Mohan Singh message on World Soil day was shown as Film Show in the event. 105 numbers of soil Health Card was distributed and demonstration on soil sampling and vemicomposting was carried out at KVK farm. Farmer scientist interaction session on Soil Health and its importance was also organised during the event.
