Farmers were given information about use of Nano urea in wheat and were information about vegetable cultivation in poly house, moisture management in vermi pits ,oxygen management in fish pond etc.The task was completed with the help of Dr Rajesh kumar. On this occasion 12 farmers satrashi ,16 farmers bayala khalsa and chanoli were present.

After presentation during discussion major problems that boiled down at extension functionaries end while disseminating this technology were lack of skill in farmers for the technology, non availability of suitable varieties for polyhouse, non availability of other inputs and poor forward linkages like transport, packaging and market. More than 20 functionaries attended the training.

Monitoring of Basmati rice FLD-Kharif 2016

Description : A team of Scientist from KVK and block level agriculture officers jointly visited Vill Mahat gaon on 11.08.2016. The team seen the field of Basmati rice, Mandua, Horse gram and soybean FLD and cluster front line demonstration. The FLD has been conducted in an area of 2.0 ha and 20 farmers field. During field visit the team also observed the disease infestation in Basmati rice by the blast and were advised to spray the Carbendazim or Tricyclazole @1 g/lt of water along with any sticker for effective control. To improve the efficacy of chemical, scientist also advised to spray when the weather would clean. The team was consisted of Dr R K Sharma Officer Incharge and Dr B D Singh, professor (Agronomy) from KVK and Sh R S Mehta and S S Mehta from Department of Agriculture. Nearly 25 farmers were present during field visit.
