GA3 is one of the Plant Growth Regulator responsible for cell elongation .Technology has been demonstrated that application of GA3@ 1g/50 lt of water at fruiting stage ( after removing of male flower) twice in a week has pronounced effect on size and weight of banana fingers.

Production of Onion in Kharif Season

Description : One day off campus training has been conducted entitled “Production of onion in Kharif season” in village Gularia of Block Dhaurahra. During training emphasis has been given on selection of corm size 1.5-2.0 cm in diameter and transplanted at spacing of 15 × 10 cm in main field during August-Sept. The harvesting/digging of the corm should be done in December. Irrigation should be provided at 60-110 days after planting. Rotting should be controlled by spraying of Copper oxy chloride@ 3.0g/liter of water. Thrips may be control by spraying of Phosphomedon @ 0.6 ml/liter or Methyl-o- Demeton @ 1.0 ml/liter of water.
