In the fair, along with the availability of seeds and plants, other information related to farming was made available to the farmers. This time the main attraction of the fair was coarse grains and natural farming techniques.

Description : आज दिनांक 12 फरवरी 2021 को कृषि विज्ञान केंद्र बक्शा जौनपुर के मुख्य प्रांगण में फसल अवशेष परियोजना अंतर्गत विराट किसान मेला एवं कृषि प्रदर्शनी का आयोजन किया गया जिसमें मुख्य अतिथि के रूप में निदेशक प्रसार आचार्य नरेंद्र देव कृषि एवं प्रौद्योगिक विश्वविद्यालय ने भाग लिया अपने संबोधन में निदेशक प्रसार महोदय ने कहा कि किसानों की आय दोगुनी करने हेतु दलहन तिलहन पर विशेष ध्यान देने की आवश्यकता है इसके अलावा कृषि के अन्य आयामों जैसे मधुमक्खी पालन मशरूम उत्पादन पशुपालन फूलों की खेती को भी अपनाने की आवश्यकता है तथा फसल अवशेषों को प्रबंधन करने के लिए सुपर सीडर का इस्तेमाल करें क्योंकि सुपर सीडर से प्रति हेक्टेयर 2000 से ₹3000 की बचत होती है | केंद्र के अध्यक्ष डॉ सुरेश कुमार कनौजिया ने अपने संबोधन में फसल अवशेष प्रबंधन परियोजना की सफलता के बारे में विस्तृत चर्चा की और यह जानकारी दी कि सुपर सीडर द्वारा जिले में लगभग 27000 हेक्टेयर में गेहूं की बुवाई की गई है इस अवसर पर कुल 30 किसानों को उनके उत्कृष्ट कार्य हेतु सम्मानित किया गया|

Description : Kisan Diwas is celebrate every year to commemorate birth anniversary of the 5th Prime Minister of India, Shri Chaudhary Charan Singh. This year also it was celebrated with spirit and vigour of farmer fraternity by inviting the farmers of nearby villages of the Institutes and KVKs. Kisan Goshthis were organized in which the scientists and farmers shared the knowledge on various aspect of farming. Lectures were organized on Vermicomposting, Apiculture, Mushroom Production, Dairy Farming, Clean Milk Production, and Nutrient Management. The scientists visited the farmers’ field and shared importance of micro irrigation, crop diagnostics, organic farming, composting of biodegradable waste management and integrated pest management and precautions to be taken before and after spraying of pesticides/chemicals/insecticides. Participation of women farmers was also noticeable and was appreciated by the scientists. Both men and women farmers’ shared their experiences of farming.

Description : The Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana (PM-KISAN) was announced in the interim Budget 2019-20 on February 1, 2019. However, the scheme will be effective retrospectively from December 1, 2018 and will benefit more than 12 crore farmers. 2. Under the Scheme, Rs. 6,000 will be given per year to small and marginal farmers having combined land holding or ownership of up to two hectares. 3. The amount will be given in three installments of Rs. 2,000 each and will be transferred directly to the bank account of beneficiaries through Direct Benefit Transfer. 4. PM-KISAN, which is entirely funded by the central government, will incur an annual expenditure of Rs. 75,000 crore, said Ministry of Agriculture in a press release on Saturday. 5. The existing land-ownership system in the states/UTs (Union territories) will be used for identification of beneficiaries. Those whose names appear in land records as on February 1, 2019 are eligible for benefit, further said the release.
