Shoolini Fair is an annual Fair which marks the three-day sojourn of the local deity Goddess Shoolini to her elder sister Goddess Durga’s place located at the Ganj Bazaar.It is celebrated amidst great enthusiasm and zeal in the historic Thodo Ground of Solan with colourful events including various competitions, cultural programmes, rides, lights, and an elaborate exhibition. Events like the Thoda, a traditional Himachali Archery and also wrestling are the other attractions of the fair. During the fair the whole city is decorated with bright lights and the locals organize Bhandaras(Feasts) all over the town. Thousands of People from Solan, Shimla, Sirmour, Chandigarh and other places visit to witness this historic event
