Several goats showed signs of bottle jaw, laboured breathing, and unusual lethargy before their deaths. I also observed the overall health of the remaining goats, who appeared to be showing similar symptoms. After discussing the farmer’s management practices, we identified possible factors such as poor-quality feed, contaminated water, or exposure to toxic plants in the pasture. Probable cause of death can be Fasholosis but for confirmation I recommended sending tissue, feaces and bloo samples for lab analysis to confirm the exact cause of death,

Description : राष्ट्रीय कृषि उच्चतर प्रसंस्करण संस्थान एवं कृषि विज्ञान केंद्र, तोरपा, खूँटी के द्वारा खूँटी प्रखंड के तिरला पंचायत के सरीदकेल एवं मनहातू गाव में गाजरघास जागरूकता सप्ताह (16-22 अगस्त) मनाया गया, कार्यक्रम मे किसानों के बीच मास्क और गलब्स का वितरण किया गया। ग्राम प्रधान के कहा कि हम सब ग्रामवासी इस गाजरघास से अनभिज्ञ थे, अतः यह जागरूकता कार्यक्रम पूरे खूँटी जिले में चलाने की आवश्यकता है। कृषि विज्ञान केंद्र, खूँटी के मौसम वैज्ञानिक डॉ. राजन चौधरी के द्वारा *गाजरघास* कार्यक्रम पर चर्चा किया गया और इससे होनें वाले फायदे और नुकसान के बारे में किसानों को बताया गया। गाजरघास मानव स्वास्थ के साथ साथ पालतू पशुओ के लिए भी हानिकारक है,भूख लगने पर पालतु-पशु गलती से इसे खा लेते हैं जिससे इनकी मृत्यु भी हो जाती है, यह घास यत्र-तत्र कही भी उग जाते हैं और इस घास के संपर्क में आने पर मनुष्यों को चर्म रोगों समेत टीबी और स्वसन संबंधी रोग होनें की प्रबल संभावना भी रहती है, महिला कृषकों के द्वारा कुछ फसलों को ले कर भी सवाल किया गया ,

Description : भारत सरकार द्वारा 1 दिसंबर, 2018 को प्रधानमंत्री किसान सम्मान निधि योजना की शुरुआत की गई थी। पीएम किसान सम्मान निधि दुनिया की सबसे बड़ी योजना हैI जिसमें किसानों के बैंक खातो में सीधे पैसे ट्रान्सफर किए जाते हैं पीएम किसान योजना से किसानों को खेती और कृषि सक्रियता को समर्थन मिलता है। यह उन्हें बेहतर खेती तकनीकियों, खरीफ और रबी की फसलों के लिए बेहतर बीज, खाद्य और जल संसाधनों के उपयोग के लिए सक्षम बनाता है।पीएम किसान योजना एक महत्वपूर्ण कदम है जो भारत के किसानों को आर्थिक सहायता प्रदान कर रही है। यह योजना किसानों को एक समृद्ध दिशा प्रदान कर रही है। इसी क्रम में प्रधानमंत्री फसल बीमा योजना के तहत 27 राज्यों/संघ राज्य क्षेत्रों में 18 बीमा कंपनियां, 1.7 लाख बैंक शाखांए और 44000 कॉमन सर्विस सेंटर आदि नेटवर्क शामिल हैं. जो इस कार्य को गति प्रदान कर रही है.

Description : जैविक खेती में जैविक कीटनाशक बनाने की विधि को समझाते हुवे कहा कि, किसान भाई कीटनाशक और फफूंदनाशक को अपने घर मे उपलब्ध संसाधनों से ही तैयार कर सकते हैं और उसको तैयार करने में लागत भी नहीं आता है, उन्होंने गोमूत्र, गोबर, चुना, तम्बाकू, हरिमिर्च, निम्बू, एलोबेरा, नीम पत्ती, कनेर का फल और पत्ती, आदि से तैयार कीटनाशकों और फफूंदनाशक तथा खरपतवार नासक के तैयार करने एवं उसके उपयोग की विधियों को बताया। और बताया कि इससे न केवल पौधे स्वस्थ रहते हैं बल्कि उसे हम जब चाहे तोड़ कर खा भी सकते हैं और पर्यावरण भी प्रदूषित नहीं होता साथ ही इस प्रक्रिया में कृषि लागत घटने व उत्पाद की गुणवत्ता बढ़ने की पूर्ण गारंटी है. पहले बहुत से किसान भाई तकनीको की जानकारी न होनें के कारण खेती से बहुत कम अनाज उत्पादित कर पाते थे और आज नई तकनीकों के आ जाने से अनाज उत्पादन में अत्यधिक वृद्धि हुई जिसका मुख्य कारण नई किस्मो का प्रवेश, आधुनिक तकनीकियो का समायोजन है.

Description : केंद्र के प्रभारी डॉ. जे. घोष ने किसानों को बताया कि पर्यावरण की रक्षा और उसका संरक्षण करना हमारा कर्तव्य है। इस उद्देश्य का समर्थन करने के लिए, विश्व पर्यावरण दिवस प्रत्येक वर्ष 5 जून को मनाया जाता है। यह एक ऐसा विश्वव्यापी अवसर है जो मानव जाति को पर्यावरण के प्रति जागरूकता और क्रियाशील होने के लिए दुनियाभर के अरबों लोगों को एकजुट करता है। हमारा देश दुनिया की सबसे बड़ी पाँचवीं अर्थव्यवस्था है। इस दृष्टिकोण से आने वाले प्रत्येक वर्ष हमारे लिए अत्यंत महत्वपूर्ण है। इसलिए हमारी पर्यावरण के प्रति जिम्मेदारी भी अधिक है। प्रधानमंत्री श्री नरेंद्र मोदी के नेतृत्व में भारत सरकार नें मिशन लाइफ को ध्यान में रखते हुए विश्व पर्यावरण दिवस 2023 मनाने की राष्ट्रव्यापी पहल की है। लाइफ का अर्थ है- पर्यावरण के लिए जीवन शैली। इस मिशन की शुरुआत वर्ष 2021 में हो चुकी है। डॉ. प्रदोष ने बताया कि जैसे-जैसे शहर विकसित हो रहे हैं, हरियाली कम और कंक्रीट के जंगल बढ़ते जा रहे हैं। हर साल प्रदूषण के मामले में बढ़ोतरी हो रही है। विभिन्न प्रदूषण की वजह से मौत के आंकड़े भी बढ़ रहे हैं।

Description : यह कार्यक्रम लगातार खूँटी जिले के विभिन्न गाँव में एवं किसान के प्रक्षेत्र में आयोजित किये जायेंगे। केंद्र के मौसम वैज्ञानिक डॉ. राजन चौधरी ने बताया कि बदलते मौसम और असामयिक बारिश के कारण कृषि में मोटे अनाज एक बेहतर विकल्प साबित हो रहे है, कम पानी साथ ही सीमित रोग ब्याधि भी इस ओर झुकाव के मुख्य कारण होते जा रहे हैं।अब मोटे अनाज को बाज़ार की दिक्कत नहीं है। यह बाज़ार में काफी महंगा भी बिक रहा है। इसका सबसे बड़ा फायदा है कि यह पूरी तरह आर्गेनिक फसल है। इसमें कीटनाशक की ज़रूरत लगभग नहीं के बराबर होती है और यह कम पानी में तैयार हो जाता है। और स्वास्थ्य के लिहाज से भी गुणकारी है। आशुतोष प्रभात ने बताया कि मिलेट फसलें पोषक तत्वों के नजरिए से पारंपरिक खाद्यान गेहूं और चावल से अधिक समृद्ध हैं मिलेट फसलों में पोषक तत्त्व की प्रचुर मात्रा होने के कारण इन्हें “पोषक अनाज” भी कहा जाता है। इनमें काफी मात्रा में प्रोटीन, फाइबर, विटामिन-E पाया जाता है तथा आयरन कैल्शियम, मैग्नीशियम, कैल्शियम एवं पोटैशियम भी समुचित मात्रा में उपलब्ध होता है।

Description : केंद्र के प्रभारी डॉ. ज्योतिर्मय घोष ने बताया कि अंतराष्ट्रीय मिलेट्स वर्ष 2023 के अंतर्गत यह पखवाड़ा किसानों के जागरूकता के लिहाज से काफी अच्छा रहा। इस पखवाड़े के अंतर्गत खूँटी जिले के लगभग 500 किसान भाई मोटे अनाज के प्रति जागरूक हुवे। अब तक के मोटे अनाज की खेती में किसान भाई सिर्फ मडुवा को प्रमुखता से उगाते थे, लेकिन अब यहाँ के किसान बाजरा, जौ, कुटकी, सवां, भी उगानें को उत्सुक हुवे हैं। किसानों से मोटे अनाज को प्राकृतिक खेती सह जैविक खेती के तरीकों को अपनाते हुवे उगानें का आग्रह किया गया। और उन्हें अपनें घर में मौजूद संसाधन से ही कीटनाशक बनाने की विधि बताई गई, उसके फायदें सुझाये गए।मिलेट फसलों में पोषक तत्त्व की प्रचुर मात्रा होने के कारण इसे भगवान का अन्न अर्थात श्री अन्न का नाम दिया गया है। प्रोटीन, फाइबर, विटामिन-E , आयरन ,कैल्शियम, मैग्नीशियम, कैल्शियम एवं पोटैशियम पाये जाने के कारण यह गर्भवती महिलाओं के लिए उपयुक्त है।इन अनाजों के निमयित उपभोग करने वालों में हृदय रोग, कर्क रोग, अल्सर, कोलेस्ट्राल और कब्ज जैसे समस्याओं न के बराबर है।

Description : मिलेट फसलें पोषक तत्वों के नजरिए से पारंपरिक खाद्यान गेहूं और चावल से अधिक समृद्ध हैं मिलेट फसलों में पोषक तत्त्व की प्रचुर मात्रा होने के कारण इन्हें “पोषक अनाज” भी कहा जाता है। इनमें काफी मात्रा में प्रोटीन, फाइबर, विटामिन-E पाया जाता है तथा आयरन कैल्शियम, मैग्नीशियम, कैल्शियम एवं पोटैशियम भी समुचित मात्रा में उपलब्ध होता है। मिलेट फसलों के बीज में फैटो नुत्त्रिएन्ट पाया जाता है जिसमे फीटल अम्ल होता है जो कोलेस्ट्राल को कम रखने में सहयोगी है। इन अनाजों के निमयित उपभोग करने वालों में हृदय रोग, कर्क रोग, अल्सर, कोलेस्ट्राल और कब्ज जैसे समस्याओं को कम देखा गया है। विदित है कि झारखंड में समय-समय पर सूखा पड़ जाता है। इसको देखते हुए झारखंड के लिये मोटे अनाज की खेती काफी कारगर साबित होगी।

Description : दिनांक- 23.03.2023 को ग्राम- चटकपुर, प्रखंड तोरपा में कृषि विज्ञान केन्द्र, खूंटी के द्वारा राष्ट्रीय कृषि उच्चतर प्रसंस्करण संस्थान, नामकुम के तत्वाधान में विश्व मौसम दिवस पर जागरूकता सह प्रशिक्षण कार्यक्रम का आयोजन ग्राम- चटकपुर, तोरपा में किया गया। जिसका मुख्य उद्देश्य किसानों को मौसम आधारित खेती हेतु प्रेरित करनें व खूँटी जिले में संचालित “ग्रामीण कृषि मौसम सेवा” परियोजना से अवगत कराते हुवे मौसम आधारित खेती करनें हेतु प्रेरित करना था। कार्यक्रम में केंद्र के मौसम वैज्ञानिक डॉ. राजन चौधरी ने कहा की जलवायु परिवर्तन का सबसे अधिक प्रभाव कृषि पर पड़ रहा है। कृषि भारत की अर्थव्यवस्था की रीढ़ है। ऐसे में जीवाश्म ईंधन और प्राकृतिक संसाधनों के अत्यधिक दोहन के कारण जलवायु परिवर्तन की गम्भीर समस्या उत्पन्न हुई है। यदि जलवायु परिवर्तन को समय रहते न रोका गया तो लाखों लोग भुखमरी, जल संकट और बाढ़ जैसी विपदाओं का शिकार होंगे। आज जलवायु परिवर्तन हमारी अर्थव्यवस्था के लिये भी खतरा उत्पन्न कर रहा है। ज्ञात है कि कृषि की उत्पादकता पूरी तरह से मौसम, जलवायु और पानी की उपलब्धता पर निर्भर होती है

Description : प्रधानमंत्री श्री नरेंद्र मोदी जी एवं केंद्रीय कृषि एवं किसान कल्याण मंत्री श्री नरेंद्र सिंह तोमर जी ने आज अंतर्राष्ट्रीय मिलेट्स वर्ष 2023 के अंतर्गत दो दिवसीय वैश्विक मिलेट्स (श्री अन्न) सम्मलेन का शुभारम्भ किया। सुब्रमण्यन हॉल, एनएएसी कॉम्पलेक्स, आईएआरआई, पूसा कैंपस, नई दिल्ली में “ग्लोबल मिलेट्स (श्री अन्न) कॉन्फ्रेंस” को देश एवं विदेशों के विभिन्न कृषि केंद्रों एवं अन्य कृषि प्रसार स्थानों से किसानों एवं कृषि कार्य में सहयोगी कर्मियों को संबोधन एवं मोटे अनाज उत्पादन के प्रति जागरूक किया है। उसी क्रम में इस कार्यक्रम को भी कृषि विज्ञान केंद्र- तोरपा में किसानों को वर्तुअल रूप में दिखाया गया इस कार्यक्रम में 35 कृषक मित्र समेत 97 किसानों ने भाग लिया।

Description : कृषि तकनीकी प्रबंधन अभिकरण, आत्मा खूँटी और कृषि विज्ञान केंद्र-खूँटी के द्वारा संयुक्त रूप से ग्राम- रेवा, प्रखंड- खूंटी में किसान पाठसाला कार्यक्रम का आयोजन किया गया। इस प्रशिक्षण में समेकित खेती विषय पर कृषि विज्ञान केंद्र के मौसम वैज्ञानिक डॉ. राजन चौधरी ने विषयान्तर रूप से बताते हुवे विभिन्न पहलुओ पर भी चर्चा की। सर्वप्रथम समेकित कृषि पर चर्चा करते हुए सब्जियों की खेती, जैविक खेती में रासायनिक उर्वरकों, कीटनाशकों तथा खरपतवार नाशियों के स्थान पर जीवांश खाद पोषक तत्वों, जैव नाशियों जैसे आदि का उपयोग करने को कहा. जिससे न केवल भूमि की उर्वरा शक्ति लम्बे समय तक बनी रहती है बल्कि पर्यावरण भी प्रदूषित नहीं होता तथा कृषि लागत घटने व उत्पाद की गुणवत्ता बढ़ने से कृषक को अधिक लाभ भी मिलता है. तकनीकियों की कमी के कारण खेती से बहुत कम अनाज उत्पादित होता था, और आज नई तकनीकों के आ जाने से अनाज उत्पादन में अत्यधिक वृद्धि हुई जिसका मुख्य कारण नई किस्मो का प्रवेश, आधुनिक तकनीकियो का समायोजन तथा रासायनिक पदार्थो का उपयोग रहा. यह देखने में आया की रासायनिक श्रोतो का प्रयोग अंधाधुंध होने लगा,है

Description : कृषि विज्ञान केंद्र एवं आत्मा खूँटी के द्वारा प्रखंड –कर्रा के सभागार में किसान सम्मान दिवस कार्यक्रम के अवसर पर रबी कार्यशाला का आयोजन किया गया. इस अवसर पर जिला कृषि अधिकारी के द्वारा किसानो को रबी मौसम में लगने वाले विभिन्न फसलों पर मिलनें वाले अनुदानों के विषय में विस्तार से बताया. कृषि विज्ञान केंद्र के वैज्ञानिको/अधिकारीयों के द्वारा रबी के मौसम में लगने वाले फसलो जैसे -गेहू .चना ,सरसों आदि के उत्पादन में वृधि तथा उसमे लगने वाली विभिन्न ब्याधियों के विषय में बताया गया. किसानों नें अपनी समश्या को वैज्ञानिको के समक्ष रखा और उसके निदान प्राप्त किए. कृषि विभाग के द्वारा ब्लाक चेन प्रणाली के अंतर्गत मिलनें वाले बीज, अनुदानित दर पर कृषि उपकरण, टपक सिचाई प्रणाली, जैविक खेती संसाधन, और भी अन्य कृषि में सहयोगी विषयों पर कृषि पदाधिकारियों नें अपने - अपने मंतब्य रखें .

Description : भाकृअनुप-राष्ट्रीय माध्यमिक कृषि संस्थान, रांची और केवीके, खूंटी ने संयुक्त रूप से 28 अक्टूबर 2022 को ग्राम कनकलोया, ब्लॉक- तोरपा में "बारिश को पकड़ो, जहां यह गिरता है" विषय पर जल संचयन और जल संरक्षण पर जागरूकता प्रशिक्षण कार्यक्रम आयोजित किया। खूंटी (झारखंड)। इस कार्यक्रम का मुख्य उद्देश्य "स्थायी कृषि में पानी के महत्व के बारे में किसानों को प्रशिक्षित करना" था। आईसीएआर-एनआईएसए और केवीके-खूंटी के वैज्ञानिकों और अधिकारियों द्वारा जल संचयन और इसके महत्व, छत पर वर्षा-जल संचयन, उन्नत जल-बचत तकनीक विशेष रूप से मल्चिंग और ड्रिप सिंचाई प्रणाली जैसी जानकारी की व्याख्या की गई। इस कार्यक्रम में किसानों को भूमि और जल उत्पादकता में सुधार के लिए अपने घरों और खेतों में वर्षा जल संचयन, मल्चिंग और ड्रिप सिंचाई प्रणाली अपनाने की भी सलाह दी गई। इस कार्यक्रम में लगभग 35 किसान और किसान प्रतिनिधि उपस्थित थे।

Description : भारतीय प्राकृतिक राल एवं गोंद संस्थान, नामकुम, राँची, झारखंड, और कृषि विज्ञान केंद्र, खूंटी के द्वारा प्रखंड- खूँटी के, ग्राम- सिलदा में मेरा गाँव मेरा गौरव कार्यक्रम का आयोजन किया गया। इस कार्यक्रम में कृषि विज्ञान केंद्र के सहायक मुख्य तकनीकी अधिकारी श्री प्रफुल्ला पटमांझी के द्वारा लाख कृषकों को लाख की खेती में आ रही समस्या को निदान के उपाय के बारे में बताया गया। उन्होंने कहा कि हम बिहन तो चढ़ा लेते हैं, लेकिन उसे कैसे चढ़ाना है, और किस तरह के बृक्ष में कितना बिहन लगेगा और कैसे लगेगा इसका ध्यान नहीं रखते हैं, जो की लाख फसल उत्पादन में कमी का एक बहुत बड़ा कारण है। बिहन वितरण के बाद फूंकी उतारने से लेकर दवा छिड़काव तक की समस्त विधियों को किसानों को बताया गया, केंद्र के मौसम वैज्ञानिक डॉ. राजन चौधरी ने कहा की हमारा उद्देश्य इस कार्यक्रम के अंतर्गत गाँव को समृध करना है और उसे अपने आसपास के किसानों को जागरूक करना है, क्यों कि वैज्ञानिको के द्वारा विकसित उन्नत तकनीक के माध्यम से खेती कर ही किसान भाई अपनी आमदनी को बढ़ा सकते हैं इस कार्यक्रम में 40 किसान उपस्थित थे|

Description : आप फसल लगाएं और अंतर्वरतीय खेती करें क्योंकि एक फसल खराब होती है तो दूसरी फसल से कुछ न कुछ उपज मिल ही जाती है एवं अनुकूल वर्षा होने पर दोनों ही फसल की अच्छी उपज मिलती है तथा खेती में सघनता भी पड़ती है l अंतर्वरतीय खेती में किसान अरहर के साथ मूंगफली ,धान या उड़द लगा सकते हैं l अरहर के साथ मकई या भिंडी भी ले सकते हैं l उन्होंने बताया की धान की खेती में सबसे अधिक पानी की आवश्यकता होती है, लेकिन धान की दूसरी कई ऐसी विधियां हैं जिनसे खेती करने पर पानी भी कम लगता है और उत्पादन भी मिलता है धान की खेती की ऐसे ही एरोबिक विधि है जिसमें ना तो खेत में पानी भरना पड़ता है और नहीं रोपाई करनी पड़ती है l इस विधि से बुवाई करने के लिए बीज को एक लाइन में बोया जाता है l यह विधि काफी प्रचलित हो रही है l इस विधि से बुवाई करने में खेत भी तैयार नहीं करना होता

Description : आजादी का अमृत महोत्सव अभियान के तहत भा.कृ.अनु.प- भारतीय प्राकृतिक राल एवं गोंद संस्थान, नामकुम राँची एवं कृषि विज्ञान केंद्र, तोरपा के संयुक्त तत्वाधान में राष्ट्रीय मत्स्य किसान दिवस पर कार्यक्रम का आयोजन तोरपा मे किया गया। विभिन्न पहलुओ जैसे जीरा संचयन, खाद का प्रयोग, कृत्रिम भोजन, रख- रखाव से संबंधित जानकारी को साझा किया। उन्होंने बताया कि- खेती-बाड़ी, पशुपालन के बाद भारत में बड़े पैमाने पर मछली पालन के जरिए किसान अपना जीवनयापन करते हैं. शायद काफी कम लोगों को पता है कि अब तक आप लाख की खेती से लखपति बनते थे, लेकिन अब मछली पालन करके भी लखपति तक बन सकते हैं. इसके लिए किसी बड़ी जगह की जरूरत नहीं पड़ती है.मछली पालन आप गांव में छोटे तालाबों, झीलों में कर सकते हैं. पिछले कुछ सालों से सरकार भी किसानों को मछली पालन के क्षेत्र में आने के लिए प्रोत्साहित कर रही है. प्रधानमंत्री मत्स्य संपदा योजना के तहत किसानों को इसके लिए सब्सिडी के साथ-साथ कई अन्य तरह की सुविधाएं भी मुहैया कराई जाती हैं. उन्होंने बताया कि मछली पालन का एक फायदा यह भी है कि इनकी बाजारों के अंदर जबरदस्त मांग होती है।

Description : *उर्वरकों का दक्ष एवं संतुलित उपयोग पर परिचर्चा* दिनांक 21 जून 2022 को कृषि विज्ञान केंद्र खूंटी में उर्वरकों का दक्ष एवं संतुलित उपयोग (नैनो उर्वरक सहित) एवं कृषि वानिकी जागरूकता विषय पर एक कार्यक्रम का आयोजन किया गया. जिसमें भारतीय प्राकृतिक राल एवं गोंद संस्थान के वैज्ञानिकों ने किसानों के बीच मृदा संबंधित विषयों पर चर्चा की। कार्यक्रम में केंद्र के प्रभारी अध्यक्ष डॉ. ज्योतिर्मय घोष ने कहा कि मृदा का स्वास्थ्य सीधे मानव स्वास्थ्य से जुड़ा हुआ है इसलिए हमे इसके प्रति जागरूकता को बढ़ाना अत्यंत आवश्यक है मृदा स्वास्थ्य कार्ड की उपयोगिता को बताते हुए डॉ. घोष ने कहा कि वर्तमान समय में हर एक किसान को अपने भूमि का कार्ड अवश्य बनवाना चाहिए ताकि सही मात्रा में उर्वरकों का प्रयोग करना संभव हो। उन्होनें नैनो उर्वरक के विषय में बताते हुवे कहा कि कम लागत में कृषि भूमि में जरूरी सूक्ष्म तत्वों की कमी पूरी की जा सकेगी। इसके साथ प्रदूषण मुक्त फसल के साथ मृदा स्वास्थ्य में भी सुधार होगा। नैनो नाइट्रोजन का फसल में स्प्रे करने से यूरिया आदि की खपत आधी हो जाएगी

Description : कार्यक्रम में विशिष्ट अतिथि एवं वक्ता श्री सिद्धार्थ जयसवाल , सी ई ओ बी पी टी बी ए यू . राँची ने कहा कि पिछले कुछ दशकों में हमारे देश में उत्पादन होने वाले सब्जियों में पोषक तत्वों की मात्रा में भारी गिरावट देखी गई है । 1914 में 64 मिली ग्राम से 1992 के आंकड़े के अनुसार सिर्फ 25 मिली ग्राम तक रह गई है । जबकि हमारे स्वास्थ्य के लिए हानिकारक तत्वों की मात्रा में वृद्धि आई है । उन्होंने अमृत खेती को व्यापक स्तर पर अपनाने पर जोर देते हुए कहा कि छोटे कीटों एवं जिवाणुओं का हमारे फसलों / उत्पादों के विकास में महत्वपूर्ण योगदान होता है । मिट्टी में से आवश्यक पोषक तत्वों को पौधों तक जिवाणु ही पहुंचाते है , अतः इनकी संख्या को बढ़ाने की आवश्यकता है जिसका सबसे सही एवं सस्ता उपाए अमृत जल ( गोबर, गोमुत्र, गुड़ एवं पानी के मिश्रण ) को बताया ।

Description : इस प्रशिक्षण में भारतीय कृषि जैव प्रोद्योगिकी संस्थान के वरिष्ठ वैज्ञानिक- डॉ. संजय कुमार गुप्ता ने मछली पालन संबंधित जानकारी देते हुवे विभिन्न पहलुओ जैसे जीरा संचयन, खाद का प्रयोग, कृत्रिम भोजन, रख- रखाव से संबंधित जानकारी को साझा किया इस सन्दर्भ में उन्होंने बिस्तृत जानकारी देते हुवे यह बताया की मछली का बीज (जीरा) को डालने के पूर्व तालाब को साफ़ करना अत्यावश्यक है। तालाब से सभी जलीय पौधों एवं छोटी-छोटी मछलियों को निकाल देना चाहिए क्यों कि जलीय पौधों को साफ़ करना अच्छा रहता है और आगे ख्याल रखें कि यह पुन: न पनप सके। बेकार मछलियों को खत्म करने के लिए तालाब को पूर्ण रूप से सुखा दिया जाना चाहिए या उन्हें मार देना अच्छा है इसके लिए एक एकड़ तालाब में एक हजार किलोग्राम महुआ की खली डालने से दो-चार घंटों में मछलियाँ बेहोश होकर सतह पर आ जाती हैं ।

Description : आजादी का अमृत महोत्सव अभियान के तहत कृषि एवं किसान कल्याण मंत्रालय, भारत सरकार के निर्देशानुसार भा.कृ.अनु.प- भारतीय प्राकृतिक राल एवं गोंद संस्थान, नामकुम राँची एवं कृषि विज्ञान केंद्र, तोरपा के संयुक्त तत्वाधान में किसान मेला सह जागरूकता कार्यक्रम का आयोजन तोरपा मे किया गया। “किसान भागीदारी-प्राथमिकता हमारी” स्लोगन के मध्यनजर संचार के माध्यम से इस कार्यक्रम को संबोधित करते हुवे माननिये कृषि एवं किसान कल्याण मंत्री, भारत सरकार- श्री नरेन्द्र सिंह तोमर ने किसानों को जैविक खेती की ओर प्रेरित होते हुवे समृद्ध करनें पर जोर दिया साथ ही सम्बंधित कृषि विज्ञान केंद्रों के माध्यम से सीधा किसानों से संवाद भी किया। मेले में मुख्य अतिथि के रूप में भा. प्रा. रा. एवं गो. संस्थान, राँची के उत्पाद एवं प्रसार प्रबंधन विभाग के विभागाध्यक्ष डॉ. निर्मल कुमार शामिल हुवे। भारतीय कृषि जैव प्रौद्योगिकी संस्थान के वरिष्ठ वैज्ञानिक डॉ. संजय गुप्ता ने संयुक्त रूप से इस मेले का उद्घाटन किया ।

Description : इस कार्यक्रम का मुख्य उद्देश्य खूँटी जिले में संचालित परियोजना जिला कृषि मौसम इकाई “ग्रामीण कृषि मौसम सेवा” के तहत इस परियोजना से अवगत कराना था इस कार्यक्रम के शुरूआत में कृषि विज्ञान केंद्र के मौसम वैज्ञानिक डॉ. राजन चौधरी ने जलवायु परिवर्तन का सबसे अधिक प्रभाव कृषि पर पड़ रहा है। भारत की अर्थव्यवस्था की रीढ़ कृषि है। ऐसे में जलवायु परिवर्तन हमारी अर्थव्यवस्था के लिये भी खतरा उत्पन्न कर रहा है। कृषि की उत्पादकता पूरी तरह से मौसम, जलवायु और पानी की उपलब्धता पर निर्भर होती है, इनमें से किसी भी कारक के बदलने अथवा स्वरूप में परिवर्तन से कृषि उत्पादन प्रभावित होता है। एक तरफ जलवायु परिवर्तन का प्रत्यक्ष प्रभाव कृषि उत्पादन पर पड़ रहा है तो अप्रत्यक्ष प्रभाव आय की हानि और अनाजों की बढ़ती कीमतों के रूप में परिलक्षित हो रहा है। विश्व मौसम दिवस क्यों मनाया जाता है इसकी महत्ता पर प्रकाश डालते हुवे इसके विषय में किसानों को विषयांतर रूप से बताया |

Description : कार्यक्रम की शुरूआत में भारतीय प्राकृतिक राल एवं गोंद संस्थान के उत्पाद एवम प्रसार प्रबंधन विभाग के विभागाध्यक्ष डॉ. निर्मल कुमार ने अपने विचार व्यक्त करते हुए कहा कि जिस दिन समाज की महिलाएं समाज के प्रति किए गए अपने कार्यों एवं सहयोग का हिसाब मांगने लगेंगी उस दिन समाज की सबसे बड़ी चोरी सामने आएगी। डॉ कुमार ने कहा कि महिलाएं हमारे परिवार एवं हमारे समाज की संरचना का मूल आधार है और समाज को उन्हें स्वयं से निर्णय लेने की क्षमता एवं अवसर प्रदान करने होंगे। खुंटी जिले में वर्तमान समय में लगभग सभी घरों में महिलाएँ आज खेती बारी की कार्यो में संलग्न हैं जब कि पुरुष उनके मुकाबले कहीं पीछे हैं फिर भी उन्हें इस मेहनत का बराबर का दर्जा नही दिया जाता, जो कि महिलाओं के साथ एक बहुत बड़ी बेमानी हैं। उनके द्वारा कोविड जैसे कठिन एवं दुर्गम परिस्थिति में अपने परिवार के लिए किए गए उल्लेखनीय कार्यों की सराहना करते हुवे कहा कि बदलते समय के साथ-साथ आज महिलाएं परिवार की आजिविका में सहयोग ही नहीं बल्कि मुख्य आजिविका का साधन बन रही हैं।

Description : इस कार्यक्रम में सर्वप्रथम प्रधान वैज्ञानिक डॉ. ज्योतिर्मय घोष ने गोष्ठी को संबोधित करते हुवे कहा की, अच्छी और स्वस्थ मृदा से ही एक कुशल किसान की पहचान होती है। हमें मृदा में संतुलित उर्वरक का प्रयोग करना चाहिए, जिससे कि लंबे समय तक उसका स्वास्थ्य बना रहे। स्वस्थ्य धरती ही स्वस्थ अनाज को पैदा करती है, और अगर धरती का स्वास्थ्य गड़बड़ाता है तो उसका दूरगामी परिणाम मनुष्यों एवं पशुओं के स्वास्थ पर पड़ता है। इसके आगे उन्होनें कहा कि हम सभी को वर्तमान समय में जैविक विधियों से मृदा की उर्वरा शक्ति में विकास करने वाले प्रयासों जैसे कि- केंचुआ खाद, कम्पोस्टिंग हरित खाद जैसे विधियों को अपनाना चाहिए और इन्हें बढ़ावा देना चाहिए। किसानों की कृषि जोत छोटी होने से कृषि की लागत बढ़ जाती है। दरअसल खेत में श्रम और लागत गणित के सीधे सूत्र की तरह नहीं चलता है। एक हेक्टेयर खेत में जितनी लागत लग जाती है, उससे बमुश्किल दो-तीन गुना की कुल लागत में 10 हेक्टेयर में खेती संभव है।

Description : कृषि विज्ञान केन्द्र खूटी के तत्वावधान में ‘‘शून्य बजट प्राकृतिक खेती‘‘ विषय पर राष्ट्रीय स्तर की किसान गोष्ठी का वरचुअल मोड से सजीव प्रसारण किया गया। संगोष्ठी में माननीय प्रधानमंत्री श्री नरेन्द्र मोदी ने देष के किसानों एवं कृषि क्षेत्र से जुड़े हुए अन्य हित धारकों, वैज्ञानिकों, छात्रों को संबोधित करते हुए कहा कि प्राकृतिक कृषि हमारे देष में एतिहासिक समय से प्रयोग में लायी जाने वाली विधि है तथा यह देष की कायाकल्प करने में सक्षम है। प्रधानमंत्री ने कहा कि यह एकमात्र भ्रम है कि बिना रायायनिक खाद के उपयोग के अच्छी खेती नहीं हो सकती है। हमें प्राकृतिक खेती को 21वीं सदी में एक जन आंदोलन का स्वरूप देना होगा। इस अवसर पर उन्होंने मषहूर कहावत ‘‘इलाज से बेहतर सावधानी‘‘ का उल्लेख करते हुए कहा कि वर्तमान समय में सबसे पहले हमें अपनी धरती को बिगड़ने से बचाना अनिवार्य है जिसके लिए प्राकृतिक खेती एक बहुत ही अच्छा विकल्प है।

Description : इस कार्यक्रम में भारतीय मानक ब्यूरो के क्षेत्रीय कार्यालय जमशेदपुर के मानक संवर्धन अधिकारी श्री सौरभ राय ने सर्वप्रथम किसानों से संवाद करते कहा कि आप सभी कुछ भी सामान खरीदें चाहे वो खाने की वास्तु हों या खेती बारी में उपयोग किये जाने वाले कीटनाशक हो इसके गुणवत्ता की परख करना आवश्यक है, अगर अपने सामानों की परख आप स्वयं करना नहीं जानेंगे तो आपके उस वस्तु की कार्यक्षमता प्रभावित होगी ही। उन्होनें इस कार्यक्रम में उपस्थित लोगों से आह्वान किया कि वो बिना जाने समझे रासायनिक खाद एवं कीटनाशकों की खरीददारी एवं जैविक गुणवत्ता को बिना समझे उपयोग नहीं करें अगर वो करते हैं तो वो हमारे लिए नुकसानदेह है और आर्थिक रूप से हानि भी है। इस कार्यक्रम में महिला कृशकों का रुझान अपने गहनों को लेकर ज्यादा दिखा और वे हॉलमार्क जेवरों के बारे में गहनता से समझ पाई । कृषि विज्ञान केंद्र- खूँटी के मौसम वैज्ञानिक डॉ. राजन चौधरी ने के.वी. के. के साथ सम्प्पन इस कार्यक्रम को किसानों के लिये बहुमूल्य बताया, और समय समय पर ऐसे जागरूकता कार्यक्रम को आयोजित करने की बात कही।

Gaya, Dr. Choudhary told that carrot grass is harmful for human health as well as pets, when hungry, pets accidentally eat it, due to which they also die, this grass is everywhere. There is also a strong possibility of humans getting TB and respiratory diseases, including skin diseases, if they come in contact with this grass, some crops were also questioned by women farmers. Along with this, weather observer Ashutosh Prabhat said that it is necessary to remove this grass from its surroundings and what precautions should be taken, it was discussed prominently. The campus of Government Middle School, Token was freed from Parthenium grass, and it was resolved to free the entire village from this grass.

Description : Our health and soil are getting sick due to continuous use of chemical pesticides and chemical fertilizers. The need off today's perspective is to use the bio-pesticide to save money and taking care of the soil as well as human health. With this view, Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Khunti organized training on preparation and use of bio-pesticides for sustainable agriculture in the villages - Kendoli, Diyankel and Lohagada, Khatanga. Demonstrated several methods of making organic pesticides by using materials easily available to the farmers. Hand on training has been given on Panchagavya, Neem cow urine extracts, mixed leaf extracts, tobacco mixed cow urine extracts, neem oil solution etc. to 120 women farmers by providing all available ingredients to the farmers. A guide pamphlet has been also given to farmers for making various types of bio-pesticides. Dr. N. K. Sinha and Dr. J Ghosh urged farmers to start using organic pesticides and organic manure for clean environment and health.

Coordination Meeting Regarding Execution of Activities under Krishi Kalyan Abhiyan

Description : On launching of Krishi Kalyan Abhiyan in Khunti district, a coordination meeting was convened by Dr. S.P. Singh, Sr. Sci. and Head, KVK, Khunti and Dr. S. Ghosal, Pri. Sci. with officers of line departments of the district to explain Krishi Kalyan Abhiyan. DAO/PD, Deputy PD, ATMA, personals from line departments, District Fisheries Officer, BTM and ATM of different blocks attended the meeting. A discussion was held across the resource persons regarding execution of the targeted works. They decided to fix all details of training, its venue and other details by 2 to 3 days, after consulting the villagers. Later on the team members met the Deputy Commissioner, Khunti to discuss regarding fund constraint etc. in some items. DC advised to come prepared on 07.06.2018.

World Soil Day

Description : “World Soil Day” was organized by ICAR-IINRG, KVK, Khunti on Dec 5, 2017 at Torpa. The chief guest Hon’ble MP, Khunti Sri Kariya Munda in his inaugural address told that we the people of India are not using the soli properly, due to which the soil health is deteriorating day by day. He suggested farmers to use balanced fertilizers and to increase use of organic manures, Bio fertilizer etc. to increase the soil health and productivity. The guest of honor Sri Poulush Surin, MLA Torpa, Khunti told that farmers may get more income from Agriculture, if they adopt the scientific technologies developed. He also advised the farmers to get more benefit from the different Schemes of the government to improve their livelihood. Dr. K.K. Mahila Kisan Diwas

Description : K.V.K Khunti (ICAR-IINRG, Ranchi) celebrated the “Mahila Kisan Divas” on October 15, 2017 in village “Mircha” of Torpa Block. The programme was chaired by Sister Charusila, Director Acting, TRDS, Torpa. The Chief Guest was Smt. Mayalina Topno, Ex- Chairman, Zila Parishad, Khunti. Different events were organized for the farm women like; debate, question answer session, cultural programme etc. related role of women in agriculture. The prizes were distributed to the winning farm women as well as progressive farm women. The programme were oriented towards role of women in agriculture and women empowerment. The women actively participated & expressed their appreciation regarding organizing such programme for them. About 110 women farmers participated in the programme.

Description : A Programme on “New India Manthan-Sankalp Se Siddhi” was organized by KVK, Khunti at Torpa on August 26, 2017. The Chief Guest Hon’ble Member of Parliament, Khunti Shri Kariya Munda ji inaugurated the programme. Scientists, officers, public representative along with farmers took the pledge of commitment (resolution) for doubling the income of farmers by 2022. In his address, Shri Munda ji briefed about the different schemes started by the Government of India to increase the production, income along with livelihood of the farmers. He emphasized that collective efforts are required for doubling the income of farmers in coming five years, it will help to control the suicide problem of farmers. We have to create such a situation so that there will no death due to hunger. He also requested the farmers to get insured their crops to protect from the risks under PMFBY. Dr KK Sharma, Dir, ICAR-IINRG, Namkum, Ranchi also briefed about the PMFBY & its benefits to farmers. Dr SP Singh, Sr Sci cum Head, KVK, Khunti briefed about the different Agril schemes of Govt of India. Description : The Chief Guest, Sri Jay Mangal Gudiya, Member of Jila Parishad,Torpa, Sister D. Sequeira, Dir, TRDS, Dr KK Sharma, Director, ICAR-IINRG, Ranchi and Dr SP Singh, Head, KVK, Khunti inaugurated the function. Dr Singh briefed about the importance of PPVFR Act, 2001 and PPVFR Authority. Chief Guest, Sri Jay Mangal Gudiya asked to the farmers for participation in all awareness programs to harness the benefits. In his presidential remark, Dr KK Sharma emphasized the importance of the Act, which protects the farmers’ rights and provide the opportunities for local ownership. During various technical sessions, the experts and scientists discussed in details of the Act and also interacted with farmers on various issues related to PPVFR and technologies. About 200 farmers participated, a booklet “Poudha Kism Aur Krishak Adhikar Sanrakshan” was compiled /printed and distributed in participants.
