Description : KVK Aligarh has organised Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana(PMFBY) awareness prograame, krishak sammelan and agricultural exhibition on 30-04-2016 at Narona No. 12 district Aligarh. Chief guest of the programme was Hon’ble Member of Parliament from Aligarh constituency Shri Satish Goutam. The programme was attended by 972 farmers, 11 scientists and 20 officials from line departments of the district. Besides delivering lectures on Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana, technical information of crop production, plant protection etc. was also given to the farmers. Stalls by the line departments and progressive farmers were also put in the exhibition. In the end of the programme a short quiz was organized on PMPBY. The farmers who gave right answers in the quiz won the prizes. The prizes were distributed by the Hon’ble MP Shri Satish Goutam.
